During the COVID-19 pandemic, patients weren’t coming into Dr. Bass’s office as often, his ability to attend medical meetings halted, and he didn’t have as much contact with plastic surgery residents. His normal, in-person education and communication in all of these areas was very limited. To create a space where plastic surgery information was readily available from anywhere, Dr. Bass launched the Park Avenue Plastic Surgery Class podcast.
Dr. Bass invited Doreen Wu, a medical assistant at Bass Plastic Surgery, to be his cohost and ask the questions people with little knowledge on aesthetic medicine want to know the answers to. In each episode, Dr. Bass and Doreen do a deep dive into all things plastic surgery and debunk common myths in hopes that listeners gain a sense of wisdom and understanding.
